Marsh Expands Cyber Insurance Offering with Cyber Echo Encore
Marsh has introduced Cyber Echo Encore, an enhancement to its existing Cyber Echo facility, providing clients with up to US$45 million in additional cyber insurance capacity. This new offering is designed to provide global clients with enhanced options for capital and coverage.
The Cyber Echo Encore is underwritten by London market insurers operating outside Lloyd’s. It marks a significant expansion of Marsh’s cyber insurance offerings, which have been a cornerstone since the inception of the original Cyber Echo facility in 2016.
With Cyber Echo, Marsh has established the largest cyber insurance facility of its kind, offering clients up to US$125 million in cyber insurance cover. Since its launch, Cyber Echo has delivered nearly US$50 billion in coverage to approximately 500 clients worldwide.
The Cyber Echo Encore broadens the scope of coverage beyond the Lloyd’s market, while maintaining critical features such as streamlined underwriting, placement, and claims handling. Notably, it allows for the reinstatement of cover in the event of a loss within the underwriting year.
Serena France-Hayhurst, UK cyber placement leader at Marsh, stated: “Marsh Cyber Echo is the most successful and widely utilised cyber insurance facility in the world, and we are committed to developing new solutions that help clients better manage their cyber risks. Cyber Echo Encore is a natural evolution in the provision of cyber insurance and offers clients even greater optionality and flexibility to manage their cyber insurance programmes.”
