Louis-Jacques Tanguy Named CFO of Athene Holding Ltd.

Athene Holding Ltd., a leading company in the retirement services sector and a subsidiary of Apollo Global Management, Inc., has announced the appointment of Louis-Jacques Tanguy as the new Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This appointment will take effect on March 1st, 2025.

Bringing over 25 years of extensive expertise in accounting and finance, Tanguy has been the Chief Accounting Officer at Apollo since early 2022. His career highlights include a notable 13-year tenure at Deutsche Bank where he held the position of Managing Director, overseeing various finance leadership roles across London and New York.

Earlier in his career, Tanguy was at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities in Tokyo, leading the Asia Pacific Product Valuation Group. His global experience is further enriched by his earlier roles at Société Générale in Paris and Asia, where he worked in various capacities within Finance and Risk.
