Allianz Commercial Welcomes Lara Martiner
Allianz Commercial is excited to announce the appointment of Lara Martiner as the new Global Head of Alternative Risk Transfer at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), effective April 1st. She succeeds Grant Maxwell, who is set to leave Allianz at the end of June.
Martiner will retain her current position as CEO of the AGCS subsidiary, Allianz Risk Transfer.
With more than 14 years at Allianz Group, Martiner initially joined in 2011, serving as legal counsel, head of compliance, and location head in Zurich.
Throughout her tenure, she has held various senior roles within AGCS and the Alternative Risk Transfer organization. She became a member of the executive board of Allianz Risk Transfer in October 2021 and assumed the role of chief executive and general counsel in 2024.
